Over two decades ago, Pastors Mark and Lisa Vega recognized the need to develop and equip people to become influential leaders in their communities. Below you will see a brief history of the expansion of our reach.

2006

Ignite is Launched

2006

Ignite Internship is Launched in effort to prepare young adults into effective members & ministers in society. After a successful nine months, a program is launched geared towards teens.

2007

Move to Gainesville

2007

Ignite moves to Gainesville, FL and expands their reach to a community. This allowed Ignite to enrich the lives of single mothers, at-risk youth and homeless community.

2014

Partners

2014

Ignite partners with Southeastern University to offer degrees to young adults; Fueled by the Office of Refugee Resettlement, Ignite Refugio opens to shelter and assimilate children into American culture.

2016

Foster Care

2016

Ignite Refuge opens as and emergency shelter for teens in the foster care system.

2017

Basketball Court

2017

Funded by the Basketball Cop Foundation, Ignite Hope Basketball Court is built on the Ignite facilities and is opened to the community.

Ignite establishes its first satellite location in Phoenix, Arizona.
Ignite Biz is launched in efforts to train and resource church members to develop their dreams into business.
